On this episode of Alaska Means Business, we sit down with Alaskan YouTuber Fred Roehl.

Fred is a Curyung Tribal Council Member, an avid Alaskan outdoors man, and the survivor of an incredible Sasquatch incident.

After his harrowing experience and over many years and much research, Fred has evolved in to a digital journalist and his beat… is taking the testimony of over 1,000 Alaskans and people from all over the world who have ventured to Alaska and had an encounter with Alaska’s Hairy Man.

Fred shared with us that stories of Sasquatch in Alaska has been an Oral Tradition for most Alaska Native people’s and that has been past down generationally for thousands of years. His work and the testimony he’s documented span over many years to present day, covering thousands of miles of the varied terrain of wildest parts of the Last Frontier.

Hundreds of these startling accounts appear on his popular YouTube Channel, SubArctic Alaska Sasquatch. It is in a similar oral tradition that he has recounted the experiences of more than 300 people who have had an encounter with Alaska’s Hairy Man.
