Pause For The Cause - The MatSu Food Bank/Betty White Food Pantry

Alaska Means Business continues our non-profit spotlight this week, focusing on the MatSu Food Bank, which is expanding its operational reach to eliminate hunger and build lasting food security across the Mat-Su Valley. Operating on the core belief that no one should go hungry, the organization leverages robust community partnerships to distribute reliable, nutritious food with an emphasis on dignity and respect.  

To fulfill this mission, the organization anchors its efforts through key operational pillars, including the flagship Betty White Food Pantry, which provides direct supplemental food supplies and the targeted Food4Kids program, designed to ensure children do not miss meals. Additionally, the food bank functions as a central hub supporting a comprehensive network of over 30 partner agencies and regional pantries across the Valley.  

The Wasilla based nonprofit continues to look toward a future where every local resident has access to the essential resources required for a healthy life.
